Dirty install

Hi. I have a doubt. I resently intalled (for the first time) the Xiaomi.eu stable ROM on my Redmi Note 8. . I used the TWRP recovery. This were the steps: Format Data/Flash ROM/Wipe Dalvik Caché. Could this be considered a dirty install? If so: could that affect the performance of the new ROM? THANKS!!

format data is the stone mark for a CLEAN install.
best rom performance. no worry.
Next OTA you just update in dirty mode without format data.
Clear?
