New Display rotation bug - Mi3 W MIUI 4.8.1

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue. I installed Chrome instead and videos are rotating just fine.
In addition, Calendar notifications are popping up multiple times for each notifications.
I tried to revert to 4.7.25 but I get lots of FCs and then the phone restarts. I also tried clearing cache but that didn't help.
I have Mi3.

For the downgrade to a previous version you need to do a FULL WIPE....not only cache

I prefer not to full wipe. I can live with the workaround I found until a fix is found.
The question is how can we know is this bug is handled?
