Door Sensor: Is Water Proof?

Hi,

i want to use the Door Sensor for the external side of the Window.
Let me say that will be not 100% exposed to the water / rain because i will put it in the top-part, but for sure some rain yes.

Somebody knows if is safe to use in outdoor scenario?

Should be OK as long as the rain fall is not directly onto it heavily. I've got temp sensors and LED strips outside and they are ok. Worst case the battery would short out if any water got inside / rust things up. The units are well sealed so I think won't be a major issue as long as the rain is moderate on the device.

PS, as another step, just ensure to wipe clean if there has been rainfall, that will also reduce issues / concerns.
