Dual Boot Patcher - Help Needed

Hi everybody,

tried to use Dual Boot Patcher as explained here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-2/general/multi-boot-t3362093
I could setup RAMDisk and mark primary kernel. Also patching RRemix as secondary worked fine. But installing the 2nd ROM does not work since filesystem cannot be mounted RW it seems.
So far nobody at XDA could help.

Does anybody here have some experiences and could tell me how it works out?

My logfile is also attached.

Have you tried mounting system rw in twrp?...

I mounted /system partition in TWRP menu leaving out the checkmark for "read only" - did not help since no space has been left on device (see attached log).
But this does not make sense since there are several GB left!

Or do I have to remount /system using a different partition size?
