Factory Reset

Hi guys,

there is something wrong with my xiaomi M2

And for my other xiaomi M2, I can't apply theme. I was thinking that I might not have do a proper job when flashing miui android from stock miui.

Was wondering, if I want to wipe all data and do a clean installation, will it be better?

And I should be able to restore all settings and save game after doing backup (using MIUI Backup).

Am I?

Yes its a good idea. And you can restore app data no problem. But maybe you have to reinstall paid apps if have any from play store and then restore their data from miui backup

Don't restore any system settings because you might get same problem again

Hi hadron, did a full wipe. Still has the same problem. Even before I recover anything

Then do it from recovery. Power off your phone then press power button and volume button togather. When see mi logo release the buttons. Now in the recovery find the option to wipe all Data

i did factory reset, just took long time had to press ok all the time and swipe same time, but thx anyways

hi! How do you exit fast boot on the xiaomi m2? i can't seem to connect it to any of my pcs... is there another option? if not, go ahead and explain the connecting to pc option. i'd be okay with reseting the whole thing too. i just can't get into settings to do so.
