New Files not working

FILES ARENT WORKING
For example lets say i want to send a file to my friend on lets say Discord. Now when i press on the file it just closes "Files" app and doesnt even send
This is happening for a while now, any fix?

Maybe you could start by providing your model name, and the version of the Xiaomi.eu custom ROM you are using ?

If you are using the xiaomi.eu ROM, turn off the "secure sharing" function in the Gallery app.
Or you can use the global version of Mi files manager from GPlay.
