Fingerprint Sensor Always On

I was using CM 14.1, and there the fingerprint scanner is always on - you can you just tap it and unlock. But on MIUI rom, I need to actually click the button to unlock. Is there a solution for this?

Thats mine with alwalys on, marked time is when I slept. Looks like a normal % loss on my unit.

and can someone give me stock setting to flash just in case i want it back to stock?

You need those 2 files, first flash "
initd_any_stock_v1.3.zip" then "
fingersensor_enabler.zip"

No need to wipe dalvik.

can you post another batch of screenshot of your standby drain overnight with fingerprint always on?

hello my mi5 is on 7.1.20 all i have to do is go to /sys/devices/soc/
look for a folder called soc:fpc_fpc1020 inside there is a file called enable_wakeup
change the value to 1 and it will work
you need root and an app to get access to the file system of the phone
the only thing that happens is every time you reboot you phone you have to do all the process again
