Full backup with orangefox

Hi, I like from time to time to try different ROMs.
I always come back to miui eu.
What I would like to know is how to do a full backup of my phone that after test any custom ROM to recover my phone to the initial state without start from scratch.
I hope someone can give me some hints. I already tried but I had to start all over again

TWRP backup for Boot, System and Data.
When you wish to go back to your initial ROM, first flash the full ROM ZIP (just to make sure the firmware is always the correct one), and then restore the backup.

Or i can a "weekly" putting a full rom zip which has a later version number than the backupped rom?

If I said it's mandatory then it's mandatory...
