Gallery pulling all sorts of files

When I open my Gallery I am getting all sorts of files that I don't believe should be there. It's pulling up folders of MIUI icons, album covers from my cached slacker stations, and stuff I have no idea what it is like pictures of chevy cars and the chevy logo?????

Any ideas why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

ETA: running 12.11 on Dinc. Have had this problem since I started running MIUI in October but I'm just now attempting to try and resolve.

I think the gallery just looks for all the image files on your sd card.
The only solution i know for this is to put a .nomedia file where you don't want it to pull your files.

I heard that too... I tried that with some of my audio files and it didn't work (having the same problem with my music apps) but I'll try it with the media stuff. I just have no idea where it's pulling some of these files. I have no idea where or how Chevy photos are stored.
