Like many I had to transfer my cloud pics over to google earlier this. My existing phone had thousands of pics/vids and after spending few weeks clearing it down via Mi gallery and moving some stuff to a different cloud service I have about 300 pics/vids left. Im just about ready to set up my new Mi phone and want to reduce the risk of it starting off wit ha load of junk media.
Took a look at google pics and was shocked to find all the stuff that I deleted still there and not in the bin. To make matters worse there are files that were deleted years ago.
Any idea why media deleted from gallery isn't being deleted on google pics?
Is this a bug?
Im concerned that if I set up the new phone then all the deleted stuff (via gallery) will move to the new phone.
Any advice/suggestions?
