Hi, sorry if this gets a little rambling!
I've got an mi8 which I bought from China, so it's using the global version of miui. I'm very pleased with it, except for the lack of nfc payment. It seems that I will need to change to the xiaomi eu rom to allow this.
I've seen several threads across the Internet that doing this can cause problems with the phone, such as apps not working correctly and the phone becoming slow? I've also read that once you change, the phone is unusable for quite a period of time before it'll work again?
Finally, just how easy is it to change? As I'm not the most technical person about!
Is it really worth changing just to have the option of nfc?
