Hi,

I want to buy the new XIAOMI3 in China and first of all I am not sure which version shall I buy as I want to use it in Europe. Any suggstions if should buy Quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4 (TD) or Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (WCDMA)?

Secondly I am wondering if I can access google with it in Europe as many mobiles pruchased in China do not have google account only have baidu account. I worry need to install new ROM and not sure if already available.

Any suggestions or ideas??

The snapdragon 800v is for people in Europe.

You can log in Google account with no problems.
There is also miui cloud that backs up SMS /photos/ contacts etc'...

TD is for China only. WDCMA is for everything else. Correct me if I am wrong.

Even its chinese mobile has google account as all of them normally dont have. Friend boought Note3 and only this useless badiu login

Buy WCDMA version as you can access 3G/HSPA in Europe only with that version.

Yes you can use Google apps in Europe

I am using a xiaomi M3, i add difficulty to install google apps and play store.
After i managed to install play store, i couldnt open it, only gmail was ok.
You can log to your google account, but you need first to manage to install a google application installer.
From it i could get hangout and gmail.

I think the M3 needs to be rooted.
