Google Play Doesn´t Work

Phone: Mi5
Android version: 7.0NRD90M
MIUI version: 8.1.7.0 (NAACNDL)

Did factory reset.
Opened App store
Downloaded Google installer app.
Installed everything, Google calender, store, services, framework..etc.

Rebooted phone. When starting google play it only shows a blank page, nothing more happens.

have also tried to give it all permissions, manage apps battery usage unchecked, Autostart on for every google app.

NOTHING works.

Shall i buy another phone to my daughter that is not Xiaomi or is there a fix for this? I´m from Sweden by the way and it is an international version of Mi5...

please help me....

ok.....just need to wait for approval ...unlocking the phone from xiaomi.
Unless it is possible without unlocking the phone?

But could you please link to the exact rom?

Have a look on the "weekly rom page" and look for Mi5
Make sure not to use redmi 5 rom
