Green Microphone Icon in the Nav bar - Mi11 Venus

Hey everyone,

I have been noticing lately - every time I make or receive a voice call, a microphone icon appears in the Nav bar. Is there any way to disable it?

It is a security feature of Android 12. It notifies you that an application uses a microphone or a camera.
I don't understand why it's bothering you.

Okay so there is no way to turn it off anyways besides running a few code lines so I guess I am good lol

What really? Is that a bug or why would they even put an option like that lol

When the camera is in use, you only get a tiny green dot that does not stand out or get in the way. I would rather this than someone accessing my camera without me knowing.
