Hdmi soundbar issues ( XIAOMI MI Smart Projector 2)

Hi!

I have a issue with my new Samsung soundbar and XIAOMI MI Smart Projector 2. I tried to connect the soundbar via hdmi to the projector and it won't detect the device nor can I find a option from settings to switch sound output like on this video

Only way so far I have been able to connect is via Bluetooth but I prefer a wired connection due to better sound quality.
