New Hotspot Band 5GHz Not Working

Hotspot doesn't activate in my Mi8 with 8.7.26 using the 5GHz band. It says something like 'this band is not available in this region' (Spain) which is not true. It works properly using the 2,4 GHz.

Some info or tip?

I have the same Problem here in Austria. MIUI 10 Global Beta 8.8.9 on the Redmi Note 5 (whyred).

Works fine on Mi Note 2, EU 8.10.25, Latvia.
I connect a router, a tablet, and a number of phones to this, no problems.

Except that every time i reboot, I have to toggle the wifi on-off once, otherwise the hotspot won't turn on.

Did you also try to connect to this hotspot? It should be an 5 GHz Hotspot. If not, could you try please?
