New how can I turn off the 'hot search' in mi browser

The above link is that someone said about chinese (Ads) link in mi browser of 'mi 6'.

I use 'Redmi Note 5 Pro', and I had the same experience like him.

The above capture is the happening of chinese ads link since 'EU rom 8.7.12'.

It was possible to remove the chinese.(I'm Korean!!!)

Uninstall browser app updates - No
Try clear Browser app data - No

So I didn't use mi browser until 'EU rom 8.8.9'.

Fortunately, the chinese has disapeared since 'EU rom 8.8.16'.

But another thing came. It is called 'Hot Search'

Holly......the hot search still exist until 'EU rom 8.8.30'

It is same like chinese link. Both cannot turn off.

I like Mi browser....but finally give up using it because of that funtion.

How can I turn off the hot search? Help me plz

I did all you said. But the problem do not disappear.
Even, I reinstalled EU rom 8.8.30 in my phone. But nothing changed.

I guess other people have the same problems.
But they are using third party browser app instead mi browser.
Or not telling you about this problems.

"Hot word" is a built-in function of the Mi Browser, Maybe you can not change the setting to OFF.
I don't think it is better than other browsers, We recommend using another browser (e.g. "Chrome").

Same problem here xiaomi.eu 8.10.25, mi browser is great and has a lot of features useful in miui.
It would be great get rid off than anoying chinese "hot search" and other stuff.
