How to activate Google photos backup in gallery?

Hi,
I don't have in the gallery the options to choose Google as backup for cloud?
Is the option hidden somewhere ?
I'm on 24.1.29

I got the same problem (on a different device) , any Fix? atm running stock EU HyperOS Firmware...

EDIT: Reset the app to default state (uninstall all updates) and install 3.6.0.16-global manually, this fixed the problem for me.
