Hi there,
I just got my K30 pro, and installed MIUI 12.1 20.7.9 Beta, which is Android 10.

I installed ANT Tester and it shows that Built-in ANT detected. I tried to unlock the Built-in, which normally done by Permission>Additional permission>use ANT hardware, unfortunately, there's no this "Additional permission" under ANT radio service app's permission tab.

On my previous One plus 7 pro with Oxygen OS Android 10, I can enable Permission>Additional permission>use ANT hardware.

So, I guess it's the MIUI's issue?

Seems that no one care about ANT+ now :(
Hi, now i can activate Ant+ with this process:
1 Install Ant+tester
2 Install Ant+ radio service
3 Install Ant+USB or other Ant+ pluggins
4 Install hidden settings for miui
5 manage APP in hidden settings
6 goto Ant+ radio service
7 goto permissions
8 goto other permissions
9 goto use Ant hardware
10 activate Ant
Voila, my Ant is ok now, i can pair footpod and earth Ant+ with a training tracker APP.

Great Romeu,
I installed it and enabled the permission, still shows no firmware, but at least one step close to the success.

Do you have installed hidden settings for miui ?
You can try Install Miui quick settings, this APP have hidden settings also for miui.
In this app you can activate ant hardware permissions.
In my Redmi Note 9S, service app's permission tab is hidden to, so, only with this app you can activate it.

Hi, i found this on the internet, install ant+ via twrp, but you need this file libz2_bt_patch.so, i don't have it.

Also You need to save a next script into a /bt_patch_install file

echo "Installing Bluetooth+ patch..."
mount -o rw,remount /system && sleep 1
mount -o rw,remount /vendor && sleep 1
rm -rf /data/data/.z2software.bt_patch/
mkdir -p /system/vendor/lib/hw/ ; chmod 755 /system/vendor/lib/hw/
mkdir -p /data/app-lib/ ; chmod 755 /data/app-lib/
rm -f /system/vendor/lib/hw/bluetooth.qcom.so
cp -f /data/user/0/com.z2software.bluetoothpatcher/lib/libz2_bt_patch.so /data/app-lib/libz2_bt_patch.so
chmod 755 /data/app-lib/libz2_bt_patch.so
ln -s /data/app-lib/libz2_bt_patch.so /system/vendor/lib/hw/bluetooth.qcom.so
cp -f /system/vendor/lib/hw/bluetooth.qcom.so /sdcard/Android/data/com.z2software.bluetoothpatcher/z2/libz2_bt_patch.so
. /sdcard/bt_patch_check

next

Enter TWRP recovery mode from your phone or tablet

Mount 'system', 'vendor', 'data' (if any exists) as writable in TWRP Mount option

Run terminal from TWRP Advanced option

In terminal, type follow command and press enter
source /sdcard/bt_patch_install

Reboot system and run 'Bluetooth+' and press the "Enable" button for "ANT+ Enabler" app

Hi Romeu, thank you so much. Really appreciate it.
I'll try it after I find libz2_bt_patch.so and let you know what happen.

in my mi5 with lastest rom xiami.eu, ant+ is not enabled. So i install bluetooth+ and run for first time and ignore root to create bt_patch_install. next step was reboot in twrp and mount data and vendor, next run terminal and type follow command and press enter
source /sdcard/bt_patch_install
next i reboot the phone, after that, i start again bluetoth+ and press enable patch, ignore errors, net open ant+ tester and i can see ant+ service is enebaled.

when you reboot the phone, you need to start always bluetooth+ and press enable patch to activate ant+ service

Good Morning,

I had the same problem that you mention above in my case on a Redmi Note 9 Pro (joyeuse) with the MIUI 12.0 STABLE RELEASE rom. I'm just writing to say thanks, the patch worked when I was about to change the rom that I love.

In my case the process was the following:

1) I followed the steps at the beginning, giving permission to ANT + service with "MIUI Quick Settings", with the ANT Tester everything was green; however the applications still did not have access to the service.
2) I installed the Bluetooth + APK, ignored all the warnings that came out and rebooted in TWRP, mounted data and vendor, ran terminal and put the code you put, installed and rebooted in system.
3) When starting the Bluetooth + program it still didn't work, but the applications already had access to ANT +. I uninstalled the program and restarted again to see if there were any dependencies and from what it seems everything works the same so my problem has been resolved.

I leave this here as a thank you and to facilitate the search for anyone else who had the same problem. Sorry for my bad English.

Kind regards and thank you very much :)

Hi.

Anyone found the way to have ant+ again?
Maybe with some ROM that include the necessary libraries

The solution writing some post before not works for me
