How to remove orange "APP" text in lower right corner of app icons

Hello

I am loving this ROM but I find it weird that every downloaded app has an orange text that says "APP" in the lower right corner of the apps icon. I find it so unnecessary since I know that this is an app, what could it else be? Does anyone know how to disable this overlay?

You can see it here on this screenshot. It's quite peculiar.
Edit: Okay so the quality is awful but I think you can make it out from this.

Very strange. I honestly have never seen that before.


Maybe its that theme?

It disappeared all of a sudden! I think it must be part of the introductory tutorial for the ROM, like when they explain how notifications work and more basic stuff like that. I have no idea what made it go away, it took at least more than one restart because I tried restarting once and it didn't go away. The theme in the screenshots is actually the standard theme on a freshly installed ROM where I have just finished restoring with Titanium. I guess patience is the solution here
