Is it possible to switch from latest MIUI ROM China to latest MIUI.EU ROM Stable or Weekly?

Hello,

I've ordered a Mi Max 3 that comes with the latest China Stable ROM. I'd like to flash the latest MIUI.EU ROM, either stable or weekly.

My concern is that Anti-Rollback-Protection kicks in and bricks the device. Could someone please clarify if this could happen?
