Mi 5 Gps On Nougat

Just flashed 7.5.2 from 7.3.1 and yeah, the GPS is working as it should.

I use 7.2.9 at the moment (mi 5, weekly release). So if I use the newest version, its working again?

I wanted to ask you, how you solved the problem with the broken GPS / location. Did you just update to the newest weekly release? Thank you very much for your help.

edit: I updated to the newest weekly 7.3.2. and wiped Dalvik/ART Cache and Cache. But still, the location service isn't working without wifi. So as soon as I have deactivated my wifi, GPS isn't working anymore.
Can anybody help me?

what accuracy do you get ?
on global 8.2.1 it is fixing a position fast less than 10 seconds but accuracy is around 10-15m while on RN3pro kate it is even faster and 4 m accuracy ... what do you call working GPS ? please always mention accuracy, not only fix or time to fix.

For me its an nougat problem, bevore nougat it was better and that is not the only thing, email sync problems , push notificication as example PayPal, post app, aliexpress and so on does not work.... There are many apps where the notifications do not work on nougat, only when i start the apps i get the notifications

I just downgraded to 8.1.2 Global from 8.2.1 EU Stable. Accuracy and time to fix are about the same as you show, way better than with Nougat

Mine now works fine (xiaomi.eu 7.3.24). I had tested global 8.2.1.0 too and it didn't worked.

But I don't know if the current developer has its GPS fixed, the xiaomi.eu version does.

Dude!! Install Miui 7 and you will see that it ACTUALLY WORKS.

If you are a NOUGAT fan... then suck a lemon and wait for a fix. MIUI 7.5.9.0 its one of the best roms for Mi5.

I use it for last 1 year with success. As I told you... maybe you have a defect piece.. but for the rest of the world and MI5 users... that s**t is really WORKING.

You are the only one bitching.. so please... leave it like this.. The word is not changing because you payed premium, and don't know how to use it.

Best MIUI7 so far... and the last one of this kind.
Xiaomi.eu stopped at 7.5.7.0 - witch is usable ..and nice. BUt I prefer the last MIUI stable.
