(Mi 8 SE) HOW TO INSTALL XIOAMI.EU 9.1.3

Hallo, I am a newby here and from reeding a couple of threads I found out that quite a bit can go wrong easily. I just got my MI 8SE and have no experience in flashing roms and never worked with adb fastboot etc... I do not want to brick my phone, so what would you recommend me not to do or try? If possible I would also like to avoid a bootloop ;-) I will post my configuration next, please tell me if you need further Information.

Please find my current configuration attached. Currently there is MI recovery 3.0 installed on the recovery Partition in Chinese, so I cannot read anything ;-)

Can I install TWRP 1227 right away or to I have to go the root described over TWRP 1102? Do I Need to toot my device with Magisk? if not I would not want to do it.

The only Thing that differed was that TWRP asked me for a Password to decrypt. After 20 minutes of investigation online I simply ignored the message, held my breath and formated my device as suggested in the Video. Luckily I did not Encounter bootloops or other problems

Hello there, i experienced the same issue, my twrp is gone and can't be flashed again. But the rom runs good, so i leave this like that for this point.
I don't want to completely set up the phone from scratch again, so i will watch this thread if there is progress from the issue.

I really understand your position, but you will forced to do it one day or another because this is due to some modifications the chinese they have done at partition level. Not sure they turn back on this. If this stay you'll never be able to flash anything via TWRP.

I think i will wait about 2 Months, then i will use my Redmi 5 for one month, and in this time, i will set up my m8 se without a rush.

Twrp 1102 works for both 10.2.2 and 10. 2.1 stable

done it. unfortunately my phone keeps booting to fastboot mode. now i got xiaomi eu 8.12.20 successfully booted on my phone. but i wanted to update it to the latest one 9.2.15. but have problem to boot it.
