Hi MIUIers,
I am starting a new series to discuss what's new and bugs happening in EU beta ROMs. It will be helpful if some of you can report and confirmed the issue here to official Xiaomi.EU website. So without further ado, let's get started!
WHAT'S NEW
1. Security patch updated to February 2020.
New Android security patch updated to ensure the maximal security of your phone.
2. Added option to adjust wallpaper to dark mode.
Darken the wallpaper whenever dark mode is turned on.
3. New compression feature for video files.
You can compress videos on your device (1080p and 720p) to save some space.
4. New Video Editor option in Gallery.
Whole new video editor allows you to set lots of templates, filters, captions, soundtracks and change the aspect ratio of video.
5. Added option to convert HEIF image to JPG file before sending the image.
NEW BUGS
- None
BUGS FIXED
- Fix bug with missing split-screen and suggestions panel in Recents by reverting the new navigation gesture system to the older one.
REMAINING BUGS
1. Data usage settings do not follow SIM Card choice.
2. Dynamic font-weight feature doesn't work in Second Space (Make the entire UI appears thin).
Seems like the new navigation gesture is unstable yet. It's good to revert that feature as of now. I love the improvement made on the Gallery app. Would like to see one-day MIUI able to implement zoom and pan support for video files like IOS did.
