Welcome back to my thorough review of this week Xiaomi.EU beta ROM! Please report and confirmed if you encountered same issues too. Now let's get started!

WHAT'S NEW
1. New Sound Assistant feature.
Change multiple apps media volume and play two or more media sounds at the same time (for SD 845+)

2. New Partial Screenshot feature.
Take partial screenshot by press and hold 3 fingers by default.

3. Added option to enable AOD when lying in the dark.
Automatically turn off AOD when device lies in the dark for a long time.

4. Added option to enable global icon animations.
Render animations on third party app icons

5. Floating window for all apps in GAME TURBO.
All apps are added into floating window shortcuts on GAME TURBO panel.

6. Shortcuts to uninstall multiple games on GAME TURBO.
You now can uninstall games directly from GAME TURBO settings page.
(Chinese characters can be seen here)

NEW BUGS
1. Dark mode status bar blackened problem in force dark mode apps
Darkened status bar happens in apps that are forcely being turned on the dark mode.

BUGS FIXED
1. Fix split screen/floating window apps unlocking issue.
Now you can unlock apps by swiping down to expand the floating window.

2. Fix notifications buttons padding incorrectly displayed for certain third-party apps

3. Same as listed down on official changelog.

REMAINING BUGS
1. Picture in Picture (PiP) broke.
Youtube and other apps that support PiP can't be activated properly in small PiP window (When using full screen gestures).

2. Black screen on video panel when minimizing app to floating window.
Steps to reproduce: Play Youtube video, swipe up to float the app, and black screen will emerge.

3. Dynamic font-weight feature doesn't work in Second Space (Make the entire UI appears thin).

Really wonderful update! Last week I am wondering whether Sound Assistant will come to Mi 8, now they deliver it! Plus fixing the floating window apps unlocking feature really improve my UX especially when playing games. For the dark mode issue, I will cross the issue here because Xiaomi dev is definitely improving them.

Yes is exist and I believe they are trying to improve them. So just be patient

Actually they fix the notification buttons at least in whatsapp is no longer like your pic the buttons are displayed whitout the grey part and correctly

Thanks a lot for your review. AOD behaviour still seems erratic. Even though I have disabled turning off in low light, AOD randomly switches off

Actually they fix the notification buttons at least in whatsapp is no longer like your pic the buttons are displayed whitout the grey part and correctly

Why the fonts are different?
My Device's default font looks totally different than MiLan Pro! And I noticed that it's the same as mine in @pittrich67 's device!
And we got no Dynamic fonts, e.g: No Bold Numerics in Phone app Numpads on tap
Why is that?!

Do you know what this do?

This is referring to animation when you try to moving and opening the third party apps icon. You can see the content of an icon is little bit dynamic if turned on.

Why the fonts are different?
My Device's default font looks totally different than MiLan Pro! And I noticed that it's the same as mine in @pittrich67 's device!
And we got no Dynamic fonts, e.g: No Bold Numerics in Phone app Numpads on tap
Why is that?!

I am using another font called Google Sans. Sorry if I am causing any confusion

This is referring to animation when you try to moving and opening the third party apps icon. You can see the content of an icon is little bit dynamic if turned on.

And another thing...
If you disable it, you are gonna get the old miui icons of xiaomi.eu.

But do you really have such a thing working? like having the char Bold while you tap on a number in Numpad?

No but I doesn't mean that, what I mean is in Second Space, the font weight settings didn't apply to the Second Space interface at all, therefore causing the font looks thin and barely readable.

Here it is in my Mi 9T: Settings > Alway-On-Display & Sperrbildschirm > Activate Always-On-Display > "Elemente anzeigen" will become active, tap on it > "Ausschalten, wenn es im Dunkeln liegt"
