I confirm the issue was present since first MIUI 12 release and seems even worsening with the last one.

Very annoying bug. I remember the same bug was present in miui11 when toggling favorites in the contacts native list, next was corrected

The weird is that on my r. Note 7 with same build the toggles working perfect just with one single press. I try everything i change all (notification center, system ui) from note 7 still nothing.
And very much drain on use of battery, and a lot ram the phones use.. Let's see next week.

No battery drain is better than before for me.

I'm having the same issue on 20.6.11 Beta. And all the previous miui 12 releases had the same problem.

Yup, me too, since the first MIUI12 release. Have to press even 3 or 4 times.

I'm tired of waiting for a fix. Found an option. Just turn off the new notification center. Display-> System-> control center-> disable new control center

Looks like this is a Xiaomi problem, the chinese rom also have this issue on mi max 3. So probably won't get fixed at all.

TheChinese Global rom is fixed

I don't even think it's worth to try the new versions. Just flash some aosp rom and be happy.
