Mi Unlock Status Don't Stay On !

Hi All
I get my unlock allowed SMS from Xiaomi and started the Xiaomi unlock tool but it says go to Mi unlock status.
I did : Setting - Additional settings - Developer options - Mi unlock status
I put it on, but if i wait a little it switches back to off alone !
what's wrong ?

Try unlock with Mi Unlock Software inside fastboot mode (Power+Vol down)

Strange, maybe u have a fake rom on ur phone?
My phone bricked when trying flashing Miui EU because of that.
I had to flash original MIUI chinese developer, and after that i flashed EU

where is that, on the phone, on the Miui web site (i found nothing) ?


btw, in the Miui site i see nowhere the information if my Mi5X is really linked to the account, i just see my phone number.

i'll get the phone back tomorrow, but for sure i did not "Mi Unlock Status - Sign in", just the first line

i did reach the "Mi Unlock Status - Sign in", menu, it said success after pressing the add button.
but when i press the button "OEM Unlocking Enabled" it goes back to off,
when i use the unlock tool, now i have this message !

google says i must wait few days before trying to unlock, I'll try later

I think you need to download a VPN app and choose a Chineese VPN. Then you can go to your Developpers Options and associate your phone to your account.
If you try the Developpers Options without the VPN you'll have a error message with the number 18008 in it

U need to wait 15 days, btw see if u can see ur phone online at: https://i.mi.com/

Dont logout your mi account on ur phone or will reset the countdown

That method, it is only when you have the smarthphone with Chinese Rom and you can't log in with your MI account.
