New [MI2] Buttons dont appear - Keyboard issue

MIUI v5 Multi Lang 3.6.14

Hi guys,

I have the problem alot that the buttons dont show. And also when i want to type a message the keyboard goes over the message. The message area doesnt shift up so i dont see what i am typing. I had this eversince i updated to 3.6.7.

Also sometimes when i try to type something it does not show up its like the program is frozen the only thing that works is the back key or but the problems persist untill i reboot.

Sometimes the keyboard doesnt show up. Or when i type something it doenst show up. Could a complete wipe and reflashing the rom help?

This is driving me crazy i have to reboot every half hour or i cant do anthing any solutions?

I have the same problem with a Xiaomi Phone2 just today
I can't type because the keyboard doesn't appear since I used this update (mine says MIUI JLB17.0 version)

I wish I never use that update
I hope they can fix this annoying bug

Got the same s**t after i updated today, annoying as hell.

I had the problem on all versions now i didnt have it for over a week. I think the problem was caused by facebook also the chatheads where not working and when a notification showed up i couldnt open it. I dont know what fixed it:

I made a backup > flashed clockworkmod > did all wipes and formats > flashed latest rom to both partitions > restored backup.

Removed facebook and facebook chat > gave it all permissions under settings > all settings > apps. I tikked everything on yes for fb and fb chat. Now the catheads work and i get notifications normally + my buttons dont dissapear.

I dont know for sure if it was fb that was causing this problem or the wipes that solved it but the problem is gone. Maybe this can help

I did what u wrote today, and so far i didnt had any keyboard bug in whatsapp, so lets cross the fingers and pray it will continue working good Thanks mate

How is the bug atm? I made a backup using the MI updater app. Whiped everything, Installed clean version and restored backup. Everything seemed to be working just fine but sadly the error returned. When facebook messenger (chat) notifies me of a new chat, and I click on that...buttons start dissapearing and the phone becomes somewhat unresponsive. A quick reboot solves this, but it is annoying.

Any update on this? Anyone else having this problem?
