@Avrora your screenshots don't confirm that you have a fake mi3. Install cpuZ and post results here.

But it sure shows it buggy, Internal memory 10.92 gb available 4.00Gb total!!!

Just in case some people like me were reading through this shitting themselves thinking they got a fake phone. I got my phone from Aliexpress from the seller linked below. Everything checks out, baseband is fine. Cpu information apps reads the hardware properly. Except I could not update. But the problem isn't quite the same as yours. The updater app force closes. And apparently that's been done by the seller since updates are only in English and Chinese. (so anyone who like me just got their phone from this seller on aliexpress, you haven't been screwed over)

if the CPU of your phone is right,it should be trust MI3,
TIPS:in china ,we don't use the Google app store,Google service,facebook,tw,
because of The government.
in china,MI3 is very hard to buy.but now,there is only a version of 16G can be buy.
MI3 16G,RMB:1699, 1 USD=6.1RMB,
this is mean,MI3 is worthy USD1699/6.1!!!!!!!

No those receipts don't mean jack. Just show them your screenshot and highlight the baseband version. That's a dead giveaway that it's fake mi3. A legit mi3 baseband starts with m8974a

The left one is an invoice,the another picture is a after-sale card of Xiaomi company
 
S/N Can be found in the back or the battery box storehouse number posted:

The dial-up interface input "* # 06 #" query IMEI
 
That sucks. Sounds like this device is problem filled. Is there any help from the manufacturer?

Please someone help me, I asked complete refund to seller but he first said he wants give me 50usd to repair, then 150usd and now 200usd -- but from phone and custom I paid 470 usd!

The older help from Xiaomi is to buy directly from them, that's their marketing strategy. There's no point ranting about it. Sorry.

I ask for refund But it very hard..... You know il possibile change the rom installed whit cyanogenmod? The miui sayd error by But ora. Thank my friend and sorry for the disturb :cool:
