I am Ankit Bansal from India (Chennai), I have purchased Mi3 Tegra 16gb by mistake instead of purchasing Mi3 WCDMA Snapdragon... In Mi3 Tegra SCDMA 3G is not working in India.

Which online site did you ordered from, at what price, courier charges and any custom duty you had to pay for importing in India?

I told to one of the person to get WCDMA, But without knowing he got SCDMA in which 3g is not working. I got for INR24,000 16Gb. You can purchase from merimobiles.com or xiaomiworld.com. Merimobiles delivers free shipping.
You can wait for sometime if u can, Hugo Barra is in mumbai, he will launch the xiaomi phones soon in india, may be in a month or two. Personal msg me i will guide you some tips to save shipping and custom duties.
