I have been updating my Mi5s for a long time with the roms Xiaomi.eu, in the last two updates the phone is slow and I can not intrude the pin of the gsm card, it goes off and turns on the screen... loop, the rom 8.7.26 work good

I had the same problem. Had to make a clean install to fix it... Backup your phone(just in case) download the 8.8.9 rom to the phone then go to TWRP and wipe everything except internal storage and USB otg. Then flash the new rom and wipe cache and restore everything from MI cloud. It worked for me
