Mi5x Wlan Broken After Trying To Get To The Recovery Mode

Hey guys, i have a Xiaomi Mi5X with Fake ROM (MIUI 8.5). So i just wanted to look at the recovery mode (don't change anything, just look) I started the recovery mode via the xiaomi update Screen (3 dots then reboot to recovery mode)... it just rebooted and went black Screen) after shuttung down and turning the device on, my WLAN suddenly died! i cant activate it anymore, the on/off slider turns on and immediately off. my WLAN worked perfectly before this.

i tried to reset the phone back to factory Settings, but it still did not help


has anyone experienced the same mysterious Problem?


i am using the MIUI Global 8.5 | Stable 8.5.6.0.0(NDBCNED) Rom based on Android 7.1.2

what can i do against it? how do i Flash a proper Rom (but i has to have english language)

install the original Chinese rom and then unlock the bootloader

How? I've downloaded the original MIUI chinese Firmware and tried to install it via "choose update package" it always says, that the update package could not be verified

I can not find the menu Point "mi unlock Status" in the developer Settings, this is not a joke, i don't find it there.

I found the solution for my problem.

1. Flash TWRP via fastboot (http:// en.miui.com/thread-1110001-1-1.html) only this special version of TWRP because my mi5x has the oxygen version and not tiffany.

2. Downloaded the ROM from xiaomi.eu and side loaded it to the phone and installed it via TWRP.

3. Rebooted.

4. Finish

Have you updated phone to new version I.ex.9.5.1.0?
Which method do you use, TWRP ør OTA?

Btw. my phone has also oxygen bootloader
