Hi dears,
I've some issues with alarms (I suppose the problem started around 1 month ago, when I passed from Android 8 to 9 [clean install]):
1. alarm don't turn on screen
2. alarm is not in the classical "full screen" alarm window: after I turn on screen manually [caused by point 1] it only show a pop-up window. Then If I click this pop-up, I can see the classical "full screen" alarm window

Any idea?

Exactly the same issue on my MIX2S that started couple of weeks before for me too

thanks for the feedback.

So...we can declare this as a bug?

I noticed issue only percent if DND mode enabled when alarm comes up. So try alarm with disabled DND mode if you have same phenomenon

Anyway DND mode shouldn't be affected on alarm as it worked well in previous releases so it's a bug

I never used DND mode.

I will try reinstall an old version, then will tell you.

Thanks for your support :)

Do you guys use lockscreen protection such as pin or a pattern? I noticed while I do, screen wakes up and when I don't use any it doesn't.

no: I disabled that from "developer settings"

Let me try! Thanks for the feedback!!!

EDIT:
I did some tests: @ZduneX25 is right !!!
- developer settings > skip lockscreen OFF : alarm is OK
- developer settings > skip lockscreen ON : alarm bug

@graw2 @ingbrzy @Igor Eisberg : any idea?
There you have it. Some developer options are not to be used on for normal usage, they are meant for development/debugging purposes.

Alarm bug is present for me despite I have skip lock screen OFF as factory default and I use lock screen pattern protection as well...but issue only in DND mode at me.

Yep definitely something changed badly regarding alarm...
Issue started with 9.7.4 and it was ok in 9.6.27

UPDATE : bug seems fixed/disappeared in MIUI 11 :) :)

Please, give me some days to test properly.

For me this is still an issue. I am on MIUI 11 (9.10.11) on my Mix 2S.
Dev settings is ON, but - developer settings > skip lockscreen is OFF (option is grayed out, cannot change it).

Any ideas how to fix this? (in silent mode it works still OK, so that is a good workaround).
