then one of the steps in installing must have been wrong... from distant memory it was very particular about what you wipe/format etc.

I think you should consult the forum and search for 'boot loop'

look i did everything that there was from the video and i downloaded the zip pressed install and then wiped everything the video said and then i factory reseted and then i pressed boot to system and then i waited many hours but it got stuck to mi logo and loading

not just wipe ! you have to "FORMAT" data (were you have to confirm with yes)

so if i format data i wil stop getting stuck at mi logo?? but im afraid to do it because i thing it will delete everything from android things and then if android things are deleted i think phone is bricked full

You need to do "Format Data" (typing yes), before copy the rom and directly flash eu (and thats all). If you dont do it, you will be stuck on Mi logo and will not boot.
