From 10.8.1? What version is that? Beta or stable?
Is message app working for you?
I tried to do a dirty flash from 9.9.26 and message app gave me force close and volte was not working.
How did you manage that?

Something has been changed in the rom that makes it bootloop in my note 7 pro. Miui 11 and 9.10.10 booth bootloop, had to Go back to 9.9.26. Can provide logs.

Have you dirt flashed? I have done a clean flash and it does not work. My device is a Chinese unlocked one. 9.9.26 works. I dirty flashed 9.10.10 and it worked, but I want to clean flash it.

I had the very same question thx for the answer. Is there any disadvantage over proper clean install and restore from Mi cloud for example?
There's your answer. Dirty flashing works, clean flash does not. Team should really take a look.

Hi... install from playstore "custoMIUIzer" you can change the size as you want. Look in here:

In the app -> Launcher -> Other -> Icons scaling and you can seperate the volume ...

This forum section is for stable release.
With installed 9.8.15 you are on beta ("weekly") channel.
This means, you will get no notification about stable updates.. stable is different channel.
So I dirty flashed on my n7pro and it boots. But messaging keep stopping, any solutions? Attached is the error

I did fresh install of MIUI 11 Stable on my Redmi Note 7 Pro with Magisk. The playstore is still not certified.
PS: Following ROM was installed xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote7Pro_V11.0.3.0.PFHCNXM_v11-9
