Dear miui users,
I bought K20 Pro with miui 11 and I downgrade to miui 10.4.6 eu rom because the battery drain on miui 11 global stable what you prefer to get update or stay on miui 10
 
What's the animations like in the update with cc9
Im on weeklys and there brilliant on android 10,but want to go back to stable and its pie, did they implement the new animations? please anyone

Update from 11.0.3.0 Pie to 11.0.1.0 Q, rooted with Magisk using TWRP on Mimix2s. No Problems! (Not encrypted)

How did you get no encryption, I heard its faster to open files on the phone with no encryption

Hi, I installed the update for my poco f1 ( saw that there is 11.0.4 version re-uploaded and receive notification ), but after this update the Steps card in the App Vault stopped working, it was working nice before flash the reuploaded 11.0.4, now just shows some blank lines/dots , Mi health app is setup , when open it everything is looking normal there, any idea what can be the problem ? How did you update without having encryption issues?
 
Never had encryption issues at all , all updates (dirty flash ) from old betas to stable android 9 and then to stable andro 10, and now dirty flash re-upped 11.0.4 rom, always dirty flashed above the previous version, do not flash dfe .

Phone says it's encrypted but not with lockscreen password encryption option in the dev. options, what I do every time is dirty flash the new rom over the current and after that flashing magisk the current version, never had any issue, twrp 3.3.0 official , have lockscreen pin ( fingerprint + face setup too ) never had any problems, twrp always had access to the internal memory.

As for the problem with App Vault Steps card , tryed everything, clear cache/all data of Mi health and App Vault apps, nothing fix it, the only difference when clear the data of the mi health app is that the card get reset and ask me to setup to show steps, and when I do it again, goes back to the same screen with lines/dots. Mi health app updates the steps info right and there everything is ok, starting to think the problem is something with right to read the data/can not read the data from Mi health app, I did not change anything , so if anything on permissions is changed in the re-uppped 11.0.4 version ? I don't know.

The Rom exist, but there is now working TWRP till now, same is for the K30. We must wait till a working TWRP exist. :)

I have two questions, first one might be dumb but now that I managed to install the EU version do I need to come here download the file and when I decide to update the version to basically start all over again with a clean install?
Second is a minor one but on the MI6 phone 11.0.2 does the bottom buttons (the ones beneath the screen + the fingerprint thingy ) stop working for random amount of seconds? (from time to time, not too often)

Edit: just saw that this is not the thread for the 11.0.2 but I guess I'll leave it here in case someone wants to answer the first question. :)

Hi everyone!

I have some problem with stable 11.0.5. Some apps don't work, they hang with exception messages.
Huawei Health, hangs on startup, Amazon Appstore hangs when trying to install apps, Titanium Backup hangs when starting with root priviledge granted with Magisk.
Anyone having problems like me? Any idea how could I resolve it? Thanks in advance.

No you don't have to clean install every time once its stable to stable update you can dirty flash, just wipe cache and dalvik at the end,you lose no data at all,if your switching to beta(weeklys) you have to clean install.your updating app on your phone should download the update for you

Device hasn't sensors. I check it in different application such as compass and AIDA64 =\

I hope Someone will notice me. Im on EU stable rom. And i want to change To Evo Os rom. It seems i got stuck on fastboot. Can someone help me? Thank you in advance

Just format data when changing from one rom to another, weekly to stable or stable to weekly.

It seems you have to flash persist partition again, search google for it.
If nothing helps then flash the official fastboot rom, then xiaomi.eu rom.
Backup your data first!
 
@ingbrzy i know Mi5 was long abandoned. hopefully my request is granted. its just that in the last miui stable update, theres a flaw on the dark mode. the detail text on the notification is unreadable as it is in black too.
