MIUI 2.12.28, phone reports wrong country

I have a xiaomi m2 with MIUI 2.12.28 (inernational) rom installed.

Everything is working fine except one thing. My phone thinks I am in Denmark, but I am in Norway.

I see this when looking at my contact list or incoming calls list where it says the country automatically. I also have the R icon for roaming constantly althought I am in my home country.

Is there any way to define this manually? Is it a bug that it recognized me as being in Denmark rather then Norway?

define your carrier manually in settings...

I cannot find such an option in the settings. Under "Mobile networks" I am already choosing my carrier manually. This does not change anything.
