Miui Japanese?

Hello.

I bought mi4S last week and have been using MIUI Chinese Stock.
I'm waiting Xiaomi for bootloader unlock and then I'll flash this multilanguage rom.

Then I want to use mi4s with Japanese translation but there are currently no Japanese support, so I really want to contribute Japanese translation.

Is there any way to participate translation project and how to?

Hello,

There is another forum member rina2016 that was willing to translate the rom to Japanese. The more people help the better. Try making a github account and creating a project. Read about it and see what you have to do and get familiar with it. Contact @ingbrzy for help about how to setup your repository on github.

Just for reference - you might want to take a look at crowdin.com at /project/miui-v6/ja (sorry, as a new member, I'm not allowed to post links). This is the translation effort for the MIUI 8 Global ROM (Japanese). I know that there's no official MIUI Global ROM for the MI4S, but perhaps you'd like to help the Japanes team over at Crowdin and start your own XIAOMI.EU github Japanese translation for MIUI8 here (which supports MI4S). This way you could help both projects and have another group of translators helping you in your efforts. Both projects would profit this way, I think.
