Miui Music Player Lags

Hello everyone!
I have a music player issue on my mi4c (miui 7, 6.5.5).
The problem is that the song lags for less than a second and continues. This lag happens randomly as I noticed and mainly when the screen is off. At first I thought the Ram cleaning itself when the screen is off and disabled this option, but no effect.
Also checked in the net for solutions but had no success.
This is a really annoying bug as I use the player alot and would appreciate any help!

I have also experienced this. The default miui music player is crappy. I'm using Pulsar Player and it's really nice

I followed your advice but unfortunately the problem appears to be in every other player I've used. Thoughts?
