So there are smatterings of rumours about v5

what will change and what can we look forward to?

I don't know, but I hope the file manager gains the ability to look at root, change permissions on files, and has a built in text editor. Those 3 things are about the only stuff I'm missing where I "need" third party apps for basic functionality (at least to someone who flashes roms often and MIUI has weekly updates).
