Essentially, when I open the widgets menu, select any widget, and click on "add to homescreen", it does nothing. If I double tap on the widget itself, it lets me place it wherever, no grid to snap to, and doesn't let me actually place it, pressing the checkmark doesn't work, and I can't cancel it unless I go back twice and then press the checkmark. Anyone know a solution? I'd love to customise my home screen, but doesn't seem like I'll be doing that anytime soon.
Invalid MIUI Widgets can't be placed.

1. Did you launch Themes already and authorized it to use the internet?
2. Are you able to access this page? https://provider.xiaomi.eu/
You should see text saying "'This is a restricted provider platform ..."
If you see some error instead - where are you from?

1. By... opening the Themes app and checking if you see the content there...
2. So what do you see when trying to open that page?...
Other things you forgot to mention is what device and ROM version are you even using...
