Ok, i tried on Mi 10.
I flashed with fastboot bootet 3.4.2b-0623 version on recovery partition.
Twrp 3.4.2b-1206 dont boot wether in recovery nor in system, it boots in fastboot.
I flashed the old 3.4.0 booting recovery back to have an working system.

Later today i will flash only with fastboot ....

Recovery for Mi 10 is from december 06 and is for both, android 10 and 11.

So can anyone explain it to me? Is this the new twrp which makes the weekly updates "normal" again? Can you reboot into recovery when you re on latest weekly. Or is the fastboot boot recovery update method still a must.

Looks like it works fine. At least it flashed and allow to decrypt the system. Going to try flash the latest miui weekly release
And its flashing ROM just fine!

I just unlocked the Bootloader of my Mi 10 (umi).

I was on official miui EEA stable.

I did to test

fastboot boot recovery-TWRP-3.4.2B-1206-XIAOMI10-CN-wzsx150.img

= OK

So

fastboot flash recovery recovery-TWRP-3.4.2B-1206-XIAOMI10-CN-wzsx150.img
fastboot reboot recovery

It's working fine. I did format my /data partition. Now I have to install weekly EU.

I did a thread here but got no answers
I hope I did everything correctly

Sorry i am now back from work -- long turn today, have just tried different flashes and reboots with Mi 10.

I think Superwitschi ist right!

for MI 10: TWRP-3.4.2B-1206-XIAOMI10-CN-wzsx150.img only boots from fastboot, or directly from phone on Android 10
It dont boot with Android 11 and new kernel.
