New Mounting Feature??

Well, I am dense!

Was this talked about and just with MIUI

The option to select Charging and data transfer when phone is plugged in. Done from Notification Bar. No more "Turn on Mass Storage"

Seems in this mode your phone still functions, didn't think that was safe.

What to I need to know about this feature as far as not screwing up my sdcard?

It has always been fine to use the phone while the sdcard is mounted to your computer. The only thing is that your phone cannot access your sdcard while it is mounted. This feature in miui takes away the aosp sdcard mounting screen and brings a more sense-like menu pop-up.

There is a program for root called dual sd card widget. where you storage device can be viewed and changed on the phone and the pc at the same time.

I'll check it out, I never paid much attn to the feature I posted about. But, I like it.
