New on EU, notification LED not blinking

On my Mi 9 I moved from latest Global to the latest stable Xiaomi.eu 9.7.19 via a full wipe.

Things look good, but despite having "Blink light" set, the led never blinks. Any advice?

Did you look in the settings to see if the blink light set is really activated?

It was set on. I solved it by turning off the Blink light setting, rebooting, then turning it back on.
