New to Red Rice need some orientation

Hi guys,

As the title says I'm new to Red Rice. Just received it.

I was able to update to the new firmware 5.0 (miuiandroid) thank to ingbrzy, which I thank for hes help in this fórum.

Now have a few questions:
1. How can I root this new version as with vRoot keeps waiting for the phone.
2. How can I install MTK Drivers. My computer have W8 Pro x64.
3. When I connect the phone to the PC the device manager is showing as:

I want to restore my apps using Titanium but without root its not possible.

also, paid apps gone...

paid app are ok now.
the only thing I did was activate the Xiaomi account.
Now the apps are again available. Don't know if this is the solution but now its working for me.

Is possible to root the firmware 5.0?
