I'm brand new to xiami in general, I got a redmi note 13 pro 5G last week and there's a bunch of stuff (like ads) and the whole chinese spyware ("supposed") thing going on, that's enough to scare me away from it a little bit. I considered getting a different phone but I found this forum and I would like some advice on what would be the best move, I don't mind factory resetting as I don't have anything important on the phone right now, would a custom ROM b good in my situation? Is there any geographical limitation on the use of forum ROMs? I noticed it's an EU forum and I'm American.
