New To Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 - Recommend A Rom

Hello All,
This is my first post here, I'm still trying to find my way around

I've Xiaomi redmi note 3 (MTK), but I'm still new to installing ROMs, would you please suggest a good reliable Multilanguage ROM to update my device ?

English would be great, and I don't need Chinese apps if possible ..

Unfortunately, it's for the snapdragon variant, I have the mediatek one ..

Oh, my mistake. I'm on the road now but you can find a thread for flashing mtk in the same forum. Just use the search tool

Hello,
One more question :
There seem to be two methods to install ROMs :
1) To download the .zip file on the device, then run the update application.
2) To use a pc tool for this operation.

When should I use either of them ?

If you don't have unlocked the bootloader go for the second method.
