Not Getting Any Push Notifications In 8.2.1.0 Stable

Hi all,

Stable 8.2.1.0 has been a bit of a headache for me. I installed it back in february I think, and it had worked really great for weeks - until last week, it started showing several strange, undesired behaviors. I got the "waiting for WiFi" Google Play Store problem last week (it had worked flawlessly for weeks), and I've been having other problem: except for Gmail notifications, I'm not getting notifications for any other app. Furthermore, messaging apps like WhatsApp are not syncing in the background, I have to open the app and only then, I can see all new messages quickly showing up. I'm not getting notifications for Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

Has anyone else seen this particular problem? Of course, I haven't changed any configuration regarding notifications or permissions for the affected apps.

Thanks a lot for your responses. I think the Nougat transition hasn't been easy for Xiaomi, 8.2.1.0 has many problems. Funny thing is, not all problems appear at once with this ROM; I used it for several weeks without a problem: Play Store working fine, all push notifications OK, GPS not terribly accurate, but good enough for car navigation. It all started to work poorly about a week ago, especially the Play Store "waiting for WiFi" problem, and the push notifications not working. I've had a couple days in which the GPS acted up, too.

It seems there's a 8.2.2.0 China Stable version coming up; let's hope it fixes these issues.
