It is pointless to report icon glitches or changes/bugs here in the forum - these reports are always ignored or answered with something like "don't you have better things to do?" or "you shouldn't care so much about icons", or "if icons matter to you, get an iPhone".
While I completely share your opinion that the appearance of a product matters, and directly mirrors the professionality of developers, we have to accept that Android developers usually have no taste. Simple as that. I have made my peace with it, but still often shake my head in disbelief.
