Phone bought in Asia. Will it work with an EU SIM?

Greetings you all, hoping to get an informed opinion about SIM card compatibility. Got a Redme Note 8 in the Philippines and I'm hoping to use it in Europe with a regular SIM card. Will it work? Any thing i should be aware?

You shouldn't have any problems. Xiaomi's newer phones are pretty good when it come to supported frequencies. I live in Australia and use a Xiaomi phone, I have no such issues with my network carrier not supporting my phone.

You shouldn't have problems - you can check with your carrier what frequencies does it use and compare it with phone specs.
